| These pie charts illustrate the overall results of the Constituent Assembly Election. The first pie shows the number of seats won by various parties in First Past The Post(FPTP) contests. The second pie chart shows how many seats were distributed to parties based on the results of the Proportional Representation(PR) balloting. The final Pie chart shows the political make-up of the whole Constituent Assembly. In addition to seats allotted under First Past The Post and Proportional Representation 26 seats are nominated by the Cabinet, so the full number of seats in the Constituent Assembly is 601. |

54 parties ran for the CA election, while the total number that registered with the Election Commission was 74. Out of the 54 parties, 25 parties have been established as parties in the CA, as a result of the CA election. The Constituent Assembly will have 601 members. 26 will be nominated by the government. 335 will be from among the parties that have won seats through Proportional Election. 240 Candidates in the CA will be those elected from the 240 constituencies directly.
